Volleyball Recap: Reedy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Reedy had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Cleburne Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Reedy's offense was headlined by Mariah Akinsola and Camryn Corso, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Paige Hawkinson and her 14 assists. Karina Crowder controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Reedy's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Cleburne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Reedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Odessa on the 22nd. As for Cleburne, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Wylie East on the 22nd.
