Softball Recap: Lordstown Takes a Loss

Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 30-12 to the Bristol Panthers. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 15-5 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lordstown's record is now 0-5. As for Bristol, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Lordstown will head out to square off against Chalker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bristol, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mathews at 5:30 p.m. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
