It was a Battle of the Birds when Agua Fria challenged Carl Hayden Community on Saturday. The Agua Fria Owls walked away with a 2-0 win over the Carl Hayden Community Falcons. The victory continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Agua Fria's offense was headlined by Heber Padilla and Jamarcus Hollins, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Xavier Matthews and his 22 assists. Herman Montoya Carranza controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Agua Fria's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Carl Hayden Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Agua Fria has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Verrado on the 8th. After both having extra time off, Carl Hayden Community and Central will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on March 17th.
