Connor Drzal Game Report: @ Ligonier Valley

Mt. Pleasant had to settle for second on Monday, but Connor Drzal sure wasn't going down easily. Drzal pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. The performance marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in March.

Even though Drzal couldn't lead Mt. Pleasant over Ligonier Valley, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Drzal's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Vikings' ten-game streak of wins on the road.
