Basketball Game Preview: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Piedmont Panthers

The Parkwood Wolf Pack will head out on the road to challenge the Piedmont Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Parkwood lost to Monroe on the road by a 58-40 margin.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Piedmont faced off against Anson on Thursday. Piedmont blew past Anson 56-33. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Piedmont and bumps their season record up to 9-12. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.5 points. As for Parkwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Parkwood strolled past Piedmont when the teams last played back in January by a score of 52-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkwood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
