Softball Recap: Hurricane Takes a Loss

If Hurricane was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Canyon View last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurricane Tigers lost 16-10 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles on Friday.

Faith Fuller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Seely, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Hurricane's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Maple Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hurricane didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-7 win against Herriman on the 7th. As for Maple Mountain, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Fremont on the 7th.
