Basketball Preview: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Fairview Apaches
Jefferson and Fairview are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Jefferson Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Fairview Apaches at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Jefferson can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They lost to Tinora on the road by a 42-27 margin.
Meanwhile, Fairview was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to Hicksville.
Jefferson was able to grind out a solid win over Fairview when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 50-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
