Softball Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope lost against Plainview on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell just short of the Bears by a score of 4-3.

Hayley Parker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 19-26-2. As for Plainview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-7-1 record this season.

New Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plainview, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Madison County on the 28th.
