Baseball Recap: Paraclete Comes Up Short

Paraclete lost against Bishop Alemany back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spirits fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-4. The Spirits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paraclete got a good showing from Anthony Hernandez, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Hernandez has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Paraclete saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Armando Saucedo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Paraclete's record is now 7-12. As for Bishop Alemany, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paraclete will challenge Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Alemany, they will take on Simi Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
