Baseball Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. Narbonne Gauchos

For the second straight game, Carson will face off against Narbonne. The Colts will welcome the Gauchos at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carson has three straight wins, Narbonne has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Carson came out on top against Narbonne on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Colts took their contest against the Gauchos 6-3.

Sebastian Hernandez looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Kris Sinclair was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Allen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Narbonne's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Carson, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
