Basketball Recap: Amity Takes a Loss

Amity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santiam Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 66-52 defeat two weeks ago.

Amity's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Santiam Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Amity nor Santiam Christian have any future games scheduled.
