Baseball Recap: Dexter Has No Trouble Against Central

Dexter won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 9-3 win. Considering the Tigers have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dexter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Looking ahead, Dexter will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Orono at 4:30 p.m. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Riots have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
