Soccer Game Preview: Jersey Shore vs. Midd-West

Jersey Shore is 0-7-1 against Midd-West since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Jersey Shore's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Jersey Shore didn't have quite enough to beat Williamsport and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Midd-West waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Braves get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Given Midd-West's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Shikellamy are ranked 297th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gabriel Romig and Evan Devine scored both of Midd-West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Midd-West's win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Jersey Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2.
