Volleyball Recap: Truman Takes a Loss

Truman lost against Platte County back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.

Aleah Ulberg paced Truman's offense, picking up seven kills. Ulberg got some help from Mia Stone and her six assists.

Carissa Bacon was the offensive standout of the match as she had five digs and two aces. What's more, she racked up 16 assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Platte County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8-2.

Truman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ruskin on the 2nd. As for Platte County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Belton on the 2nd.
