Abbott dropped their record down to 14-10-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Oglesby Tigers by a score of 1-0. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the seven contests prior), but the Tigers' pitchers proved too tough.
