Cyprus waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Kearns Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Cyprus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.

Leading Cyprus to victory were ?Ilisapesi Tu'ivai and Saris Rengifo. Tu'ivai had six digs and two aces, while Rengifo had 14 digs and three assists. That's the most aces Tu'ivai has posted since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: Cyprus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

Cyprus' win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Kearns, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
