Basketball Game Preview: Greenville Christian Academy Knights vs. Scotland Christian Academy Saints

The Greenville Christian Academy Knights will square off against the Scotland Christian Academy Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season.

Greenville Christian Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Forest just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Matthew Dove, who posted 15 points and five assists. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Connor Dial, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Scotland Christian Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 88-40 loss at the hands of Wilmington Christian Academy. The Saints were down 68-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Scotland Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Greenville Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
