Softball Recap: Powell Gets the Win

Powell is still undefeated this season after their game against Friendship Christian on Tuesday, but Friendship Christian came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Panthers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Commanders.

Emersyn Mayes was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Powell's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Friendship Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powell will welcome Knoxville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Friendship Christian, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Trousdale County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
