Basketball Recap: Fox Tech Comes Up Short

Fox Tech played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Burbank Bulldogs, falling 71-11. The contest marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

It was another big night for Zara?Nique Nealy, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 18 rebounds for Burbank. Nealy's morning made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Makayla Carter was another key player, going 8 for 16 on her way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Fox Tech's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-13. As for Burbank, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11.

Fox Tech will take on Brackenridge at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burbank, they will face off against Lanier at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
