NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) recap September 10, 2013

Northeast Academy fell to Halifax Academy 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Hobgood Academy led NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 72 points on Rocky Mount Academy. Greg "GJ" Mullins ran for 351 yards in the win.

Arendell Parrott Academy's dynamic duo of Charlie King and Chase Howard proved tough for Lawrence Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. King threw for 179 yards and 3 touchdowns and Howard had 60 yards receiving. Caleb Quinn helped Arendell Parrott Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 67 yards.

The Patriots' dynamic duo of King and Howard proved to be unstoppable against the Warriors, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

King put up the best numbers in passing as Arendell Parrott Academy topped Lawrence Academy.

Mullins provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Raiders bested the Eagles.

Mullins was a beast in the backfield as Hobgood Academy bested Rocky Mount Academy.

Howard was the best wideout in the league this week as Matt Beaman's team defeated Beau Drake's team.

He went 11-24 with 1 interceptions.

Mullins was the most successful running back in the league this week. Jawan Marshall also contributed to the rushing game with 107 yards on the ground.

The Patriots' King and Devin Cregan have formed a dream team this season, leading NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback King has thrown for 368 yards this season, while Cregan has 8 catches for 184 yards. Brandon Lanier's team's Mullins leads the league in rushing yards with 610.

The Raiders are currently in second, while the Eagles are in fifth.

Mullins broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 57-yard run against B.W Holt's team.
