Basketball Recap: Bushnell-Prairie City Comes Up Short

Bushnell-Prairie City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-19 loss at the hands of the Illini West Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Chargers are ranked 259th).

Bushnell-Prairie City's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Illini West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Bushnell-Prairie City will be taking part in a tournament against Princeville at 10:30 a.m. on December 26th. As for Illini West, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clark County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
