The Lanier Longhorns are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they face off against the North Forsyth Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lanier will be strutting in after a win while North Forsyth will be coming in after a defeat.

Despite their loss, North Forsyth saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Colton Constable, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, was perhaps the best of all. Constable's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

The victory got Lanier back to even at 1-1. As for North Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Lanier didn't have too much breathing room in their match against North Forsyth in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, but they still walked away with a 27-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lanier since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
