Softball Recap: Torres' Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Torres had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Orthopaedic Vipers 8-7 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Toros have posted since February 12, 2024.

Torres' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Orthopaedic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Torres will challenge Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on March 28th. Orthopaedic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Annenberg at 2:00 p.m. on April 2nd.
