Softball Recap: Clifton Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeland Regional, Clifton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Eastside Ghosts 19-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Sydney Reeb looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, Casey Mullen was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Josephine Zagorski, who scored four runs while going 2-for-3.

Clifton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Eastside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
