Southampton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Babylon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mariners will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Southampton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Babylon likes a good challenge.

Southampton had a senior duo take command as Alex Franklin dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten boards and Sae'Vion Ward dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 assists. Another player making a difference was Brian Spellman, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Babylon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to Center Moriches at home by a 65-50 margin. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Red Devils since Friday.

Southampton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points over those games. As for Babylon, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-7.

Everything came up roses for Southampton against Babylon when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as the team secured an 84-52 win. In that matchup, the Mariners amassed a halftime lead of 53-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
