The Reagan Bison just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Downtown Doral Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reagan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season.
Downtown Doral better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Reagan really get things going. Reagan took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 70-43 win over Miami Beach. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Hi-Tides are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sebastian Gonzalez led the charge by putting up 21 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Gonzalez a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Ronal Hodelin, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds.
Gonzalez wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Reagan was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Downtown Doral's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of St. Brendan. The contest marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Reagan will have to keep a close watch on Giancarlo Romero and Samuel Salas, a pair of players who had a big impact on Downtown Doral's prior game. Romero posted ten points and seven boards, while Salas had 11 points.
Reagan's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Downtown Doral, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Reagan has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 34.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Downtown Doral struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.9 rebounds.
