Softball Game Preview: Santo Wildcats vs. Bosqueville Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Santo will face off against Bosqueville. The Wildcats will take on the Bulldogs on Saturday. Santo has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Santo heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to Bosqueville. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Bosqueville's part, Jayla Lee was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Corinne Sheffield, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Bosqueville is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Santo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
