Basketball Recap: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

If Lexington wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Genie Mcghee. The Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles strolled past the Lexington Golden Bears with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 56-38 thanks in part to Mcghee, who posted eight points along with ten boards and six assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 35 games she's played dating back to last season.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Lexington, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will welcome Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
