Football Recap: Evansville Mater Dei Starts off Right with Win over Castle

Evansville Mater Dei had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Castle Knights with a 14-8 win.

Evansville Mater Dei has already played their next matchup, a 48-18 victory against Evansville Memorial on the 3rd. Hopefully Castle paid attention to the Wildcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
