Byron Nelson is a perfect 4-0 against Northwest since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Byron Nelson Bobcat will look to defend their home pitch against the Northwest Texans at 6:30 p.m. Byron Nelson will be strutting in after a victory while Northwest will be coming in after a loss.

Byron Nelson's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on V.R. Eaton with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcat, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Southlake Carroll, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Texans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Dragons are ranked fifth).

Byron Nelson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine contests. Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Byron Nelson took their victory against Northwest when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 8-0. Will Byron Nelson repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
