Baseball Recap: King's Fork Has No Trouble Against Heritage

King's Fork can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Hurricanes as they made off with a 23-3 victory. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Isaiah Harris was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. King's Fork is 3-1 when Harris posts two or more runs, but 1-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Mejia, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

King's Fork always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

King's Fork picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-6. As for Heritage, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

King's Fork has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Grassfield on the 21st. As for Heritage, they will face off against Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.1 runs per game on average), something the Hurricanes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
