Recap: Brockway Rovers vs. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Brockway Rovers walked away with it. They walked away with a 27-20 win over Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brockway.
Brockway found their leader in underclassman Caleb Daugherty, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jendy Cuello and his 87 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Brockway's win.
Brockway is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Brockway will square off against Port Allegany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Port Allegany's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matches. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
