Basketball Recap: Easton Rinewalt Key Part of a Team Effort in Trojans Win

After losing to Troy the last time they met, West decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The West Trojans secured a 61-55 W over the Troy Trojans on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for West.

West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Rinewalt, who went 8 of 13 en route to 19 points and six rebounds. Ayden Poteet was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
