Softball Recap: Windsor Central Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Windsor Central's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Corning-Painted Post Hawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Black Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Windsor Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Cauiola, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Cauiola has hit this season.

Windsor Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Corning-Painted Post, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coincidentally, Windsor Central and Corning-Painted Post will both be playing Webster Schroeder the next time they take the field. The Hawks will head out to face the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Black Knights will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
