Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Veterans Warhawks. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Lamontagne, who had seven assists and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Veterans, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Veterans will square off against Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northside will be paying especially close attention to the Warhawks' match: after the Warhawks face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Northside again at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
