Baseball's Opening Day is just days away, but high school football news and interest never wavers in Dallas.

Hey, it's April 1 and we all know what that means: Fourteen days until tax day? Yes. The day to pull a fast one? Absolutely.

But germane to this national football editor is that we are only a couple months away from selecting our preseason top 25 national football rankings. Here are our final ones from last season.

Here are 10 of the teams from the Dallas/Fort Worth region we're giving serious consideration to. Let us know if we're missing any.
