It's playoff time, and Governor Mifflin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Northeastern Bobcats on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Governor Mifflin's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Northeastern, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

Coming up, Governor Mifflin will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ephrata at 4:30 p.m. The last six games the Mountaineers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Northeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
