Baseball Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

West Middlesex managed to slip by Wilmington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Reds lost 13-3 to the Greyhounds on Saturday. The Big Reds just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

West Middlesex saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Miles, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

West Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Wilmington, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Looking ahead, West Middlesex will square off against Reynolds at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wilmington, they will challenge Slippery Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
