Central extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 4-1. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 46-45 W against the Huntingdon Bearcats. The 46-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

As for Huntingdon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only two points.

Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Javion Morris, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kobe Carthen, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

Central has already played their next contest, a 53-41 loss against Hollidaysburg on the 23rd. As for Huntingdon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-47 victory against Mount Union on the 27th.
