Ashland-Greenwood is 8-1 against Plattsmouth since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Plattsmouth Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m.

Ashland-Greenwood is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Mercy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ashland-Greenwood was outmatched by Mercy and fell 54-27. The Bluejays were down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plattsmouth). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 71-30 victory over Auburn. With that win, the Blue Devils brought their scoring average up to 53.8 points per game.

Ashland-Greenwood better keep an eye on Averi Winters. She was instrumental in Plattsmouth's win, going 9 of 17 on her way to 23 points along with six boards and three steals. Those 23 points gave Winters a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mila Wehrbein, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points and three steals.

Plattsmouth was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Plattsmouth's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ashland-Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Ashland-Greenwood beat Plattsmouth 42-35 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Ashland-Greenwood repeat their success, or does Plattsmouth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
