Volleyball Recap: Fairmont Prep Takes a Loss

Fairmont Prep lost against Capistrano Valley Christian back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 17-25, 25-15.

Fairmont Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairmont Prep will welcome Pacifica Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on San Gabriel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
