Soccer Recap: Valley Starts off Right with Win over Minford

Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the Minford Falcons by a goal, winning 1-0. Valley were shut out 10-0 the last time they took on Minford, so Valley were just returning the favor.

Minford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Valley will be playing at home against Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minford, they have already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Northwest on the 20th.
