Volleyball Recap: Custer County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Custer County lost against Sanford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sanford scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-17.

Cadence Weeks paced Custer County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Weeks got some help from Stephanie Lewis and her 26 assists. Weeks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Custer County's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Sanford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Custer County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Florence on the 1st. As for Sanford, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Monte Vista on the 30th.
