Recap: Gallup vs. Grants
Grants won the last time they faced Gallup, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Grants's way against Gallup as they made off with a 26-0 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Grants.
Junior Isaiah Johnson, who rushed for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. On the defensive end, Grants got some fancy footwork from senior Adrian Sanchez, who dodged the offensive line for 3 sacks.
The victory bumped Grants's record up to 2-0. Gallup are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week, Grants take on Miyamura at 7:00 PM. As for Gallup, they will face off against Window Rock.
