Central had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Colbert County Indians get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Indians since April 17, 2018.

Chloe May was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
