Soccer Game Preview: Warhill vs. Lancaster

The Warhill Lions will challenge the Lancaster Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Warhill took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Denbigh get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Warhill haven't had any issues with Denbigh recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Lancaster hadn't done well against Westmoreland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Warhill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Lancaster, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
