Basketball Game Preview: Mancos Bluejays vs. Cedaredge Bruins + How To Watch

The Mancos Bluejays will head out to take on the Cedaredge Bruins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Mancos took a blow against Ignacio, falling 76-30. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cedaredge came up short against Ridgway on Wednesday and fell 66-55.

Despite the loss, Cedaredge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zach Mannon dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Mannon is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Levi Maxey, who posted 13 points.

Cedaredge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mancos, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mancos was taken down by Cedaredge 74-16 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bluejays were down 48-10.
