Football Recap: Southside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southside was the 30-23 winner over Gadsden City when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers were beaten by the Titans 42-7 on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Gadsden City, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southside will face off against rival Hazel Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gadsden City is set to challenge their familiar foe Mae Jemison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
