Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Takes a Loss

Central Noble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfield Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-28, 25-13, 25-12.

Grace Swank paced Central Noble's offense, picking up ten kills. Swank got some help from Jalayna Winebrenner and her ten assists. Lily Marks controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Central Noble's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Fairfield, with the win, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-13.

Central Noble has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fort Wayne North Side on the 4th. As for Fairfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Westview on the 7th.
