Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Eagles are ranked 99th).

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-3 record this season.

St. Andrew's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they will challenge The Awty International at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Episcopal School of Dallas' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
